The Fuzzies
Bengals have inherited the Fuzzy stage from their wild relatives. In many wild cats, such as the ALC or particularly clear in cheetah cubs it can be observed that the cubs have longer, colorless, dull, vague and blurred coat and pattern between the third week of life and nine months. This development is for protection and camouflage of the cubs.
Unfortunately, the Fuzzies occur just when it's time for the new Bengal cat owners to pick their dream kitten. At that time it's hard for most people to imagine how beautiful the kittens will be one day.
